Brief Bio of Ifa Isfansyah:
Ifa Isfansyah was born in Jogjakarta, Indonesia 1979. Graduated from Television Department Indonesian Institute of the Art Jogjakarta in 2007. In 2001, with his several friends founding an independent film community, named Fourcolours Films and has been active producing short movies. His short film Mayar got SET Award for Best Cinematography and Best Art Directing in Festival Film-Video Independen Indonesia 2002 and had been screened in Roterdam and Hamburg Int’l Film Festival. Ifa also directing many TV Commercial and TV series. In 2006 he made his other short movies Harap tenang, ada ujian! (be quiet, exam is in progress!) and got awards in many festivals, such as Audience Award in Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival 2006, Best Short Movie in Festival Film Pendek Konfiden 2006, Best Short Movie in Festival Film Indonesia 2006 (Indonesian Oscar), also screened in International Competition at Short Shorts Film Festival & ASIA 2007, Tokyo Japan and Almaty International Film Festival 2007, Kazakhstan. He was selected at Asian Film Academy Pusan Int’l Film festival 2006 and won a scholarship award in Dongseo University Faculty of Film and Video, Korea.
