I am Billy Harold. I am a writer and director. My first feature film - Old Wives Tale - will go before the hi-def video cameras this summer. The project currently is in pre-production. I am doing a final re-write of the shooting script and have begun the casting process.

Here is what I'm looking for in the casting process:

• Four actresses who can play characters between ages 70-80
• One actress who can play a character between age 60-70
• A twenty-something male to play a newspaper reporter
• A man between 50-70 to play a barber

The setting for the film is a small Iowa farming village, circa late 1990s. But I want the town to still have many of the original buildings from the early 20th century, particularly on Main Street.

Some of the film could be shot in rural Southern California, but some of it will be shot on location in Iowa.
