List Your Screening Party

Living room screening parties are already an important grass roots tool to spread the word about an indie movie that doesn't benefit from the marketing coiffers at Paramount Vantage.  Independent Films Direct expects the ritual of living room screening parties to spread, and IFD hopes it becomes a phenomenon.  One of the goals of IFD is to assist and encourage living room screening parties.

Here is what IFD has planned to promote living room screening parties:

  • If you need help setting up a living room screening party, send us an This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or phone us at IFD and we'll be glad to provide counsel.  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   or (310) 733-8923.
  • IFD plans to host living room screening parties in different cities throughout the world. Keep your eye on this section of the website for further info.  If you want to host a party, contact Kent.
  • IFD will publicize living room screening parties, providing critical time, date, place and RSVP info
Enjoy yourselves!  And remember that every time you gather friends in a room to watch an indie movie on television you are doing your part to promote the art form of indie film.
