Independent Films Direct will host numerous special events. Keep checking this section for updates. Our first event will likely be in late February 2008. IFD will host webinars starring artistic drivers of the independent film world. Join a live real-time webinar and converse with one of your movie idols. We've got some connections and some markers to call in so expect some out of sight webinars at IFD. In addition to the fun of conversing with a filmmaking idol, IFD will sponsor webinars that will focus on specific and various aspects of movie-making and will invite some of the premiere craftspersons in the movie business to lead these webinars. IFD will host its own online film festivals. IFD and and its patrons and its advertisers will sponsor periodic contests that give filmmakers a goal that will raise the bar on their skill level and pay off in some pretty groovy prizes. IFD will host filmmaking seminars. One of the first will be a screenwriting seminar in which screenwriters will submit their own scripts for comments and also provide constructive criticism of their fellow screenwriter's works. Make regular visits to this "Events" section so that you don't miss any of the outstanding undertakings that IFD plans to bring to its beloved indie film fan audience. |
